About this event

This workshop will draw upon James Trewby’s doctoral thesis to propose ideas for engaging educators with global justice issues.  James’ doctorate explores the life stories of activist-educators, and forms of engagement and learning about justice and action.  By learning from the life journeys of activist-educators who have become engaged in the UK global justice movement, James has gathered evidence of effective methodologies that support learners to translate knowledge into action.  This interactive workshop will share activities that support the transition from knowledge to action on global issues.
